Description of services
The IDCHECK.IO services offered by ARIADNEXT allow you to automatically check identity documents (passports, visas, identity cards, residence permits, driving licences, etc.) The product of these services is a control report with an examination of the document that will help you make a decision on the acceptance of the submitted document as proof of identity of the person who presented it.
The purchase of these checks is governed by the general terms and conditions of sale.
Use of our services
When using our services, you must follow all policies made available to you.
Fraudulent use
Do not use the services for fraudulent activity. Any suspicious activity results in the immediate suspension of the account, and all information about the use of this account may be used in legal proceedings.
We note that Article 441-7 of the French Penal Code (applicable in the context of the use of our services) punishes “one year’s imprisonment and a fine of 15,000 euros: 1. 2. falsifying an initially sincere declaration or certificate; 3. using an incorrect or falsified declaration or certificate. The penalty is increased to three years’ imprisonment and a fine of 45,000 euros if the offence is committed with the aim of damaging the Treasury or the assets of others. “
Incorrect use
Do not misuse our services. For example, do not interfere with or attempt to access our services by any method other than the interface and instructions we provide. Do not engage in any activity that interferes with, alters or disrupts the services (or the servers and networks connected to the services).
You may only use our services to the extent permitted by law, including applicable export and re-export control laws and regulations. We may suspend or stop providing our services to you if you do not comply with our conditions or policies or if we investigate alleged misconduct.
The use of our services does not confer any intellectual property rights on the content you access. These conditions do not grant you the right to use any trademark or logo contained in our services. You are not allowed to remove, hide or modify the legal notices displayed in or with our services.
Unless you have been expressly authorized to do so in a separate agreement with ARIADNEXT, you agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, exchange or resell the Services for any purpose.
In connection with your use of the Services and the performance of our contractual obligations, we may send you messages relating to the operation or administration of the Services and other information. Some of our services are available on mobile devices. Do not use these services in a way that distracts you from obeying traffic or safety laws.
You agree to be solely responsible (and ARIADNEXT has no liability to you or any third party) for any breach of your obligations under the Terms and Conditions of Use, and for the consequences of any breach (including any loss or damage that may result to the ARIADNEXT company).
Your IDCHECK.IO account
You need an IDCHECK.IO account to use our services. You can create your own IDCHECK.IO account, or your IDCHECK.IO account can be assigned to you by an administrator, such as your employer. If you are using an IDCHECK.IO account assigned to you by an administrator, different or additional conditions may apply and your administrator may be able to access or disable your account.
To protect your IDCHECK.IO account, keep your password confidential. You are responsible for the activity that takes place on or through your IDCHECK.IO account. Try not to reuse your IDCHECK.IO password on third-party applications. If you become aware of any unauthorized use of your IDCHECK.IO password or account, immediately change it by following the procedure mentioned on the Service and notify ARIADNEXT to minimize the consequences of such use.
Privacy and personal information

It explains how ARIADNEXT treats your personal information or content and protects your privacy when you use the services. Comments and feedback on the Services
ARIADNEXT aims to continuously improve its offer to users and receive productive feedback.
In order to make comments usable and productive, you acknowledge and agree that any comments (improvement or criticism) you wish to communicate will be shared with ARIADNEXT using dedicated service forms. (b) make the necessary changes to your content to comply with and adapt it to the technical requirements of the services and
(c) store a copy of your content.
You agree that this license allows ARIADNEXT to perform these actions. You confirm and warrant to ARIADNEXT that you have all the rights, powers and authority necessary to grant the above rights and a license. This authorization remains valid for the entire legal period of protection of your content, even if you stop using our services.

You acknowledge and agree that ARIADNEXT (or its licensors ARIADNEXT) holds all right, title and interest in the Services, including all remaining intellectual property rights in the Services or associated systems or software packages established to perform the Services. You further acknowledge that the Services may contain information designated confidential by ARIADNEXT and you shall not disclose such information without the prior written consent of ARIADNEXT.
About our service software
When a Service requires or includes downloadable software, this software may automatically update on your device as soon as a new version or feature is available. Some services may let you adjust your automatic update settings.
ARIADNEXT grants you a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-transferable and non-exclusive license to use the software provided to you by ARIADNEXT as part of the Services. The sole purpose of this license is to allow you to use and benefit from the services provided by ARIADNEXT, in the manner permitted by these terms and conditions. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or rent any part of our services or included software, or reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code from such software, unless prohibited by law or with our written permission.

You may stop using our services at any time. However, we hope you will continue to use them. ARIADNEXT is entitled to stop providing all or part of the services, to add or create new limits to the use of the services and at any time.
For us, you remain the owner of the data you entrust to us and we think it is important that you can access it. If we discontinue a Service, if possible, we will notify you within a reasonable time and give you the opportunity to retrieve information from that Service.

Services may include hyperlinks to other websites or to other content or resources. ARIADNEXT has no control over websites or resources that are provided by companies or persons other than ARIADNEXT.
You acknowledge and agree that ARIADNEXT is not responsible for the availability of these external sites or resources and does not endorse any advertising, products or other materials available on these sites or resources.
You acknowledge and agree that ARIADNEXT is not responsible for any loss or damage that you may suffer as a result of the availability of such external sites or resources, or as a result of your reliance on the completeness, accuracy or existence of any services, products or other materials available on such sites or resources.
Commercial use of our services
If you use our services on behalf of a company, the company accepts these conditions. It shall indemnify and hold ARIADNEXT and its affiliates, officers, agents and employees harmless from and against any claim, suit or action arising out of or related to the use of the Services or the breach of these Terms and Conditions, including any liability or expense arising out of claims, losses, damages, suits, judgments, litigation costs and attorneys’ fees.
Warranty and disclaimer clauses
We provide our services using a commercially reasonable level of competence and care and we hope you will enjoy using them. But there are some things we don’t promise about our services.

This must include, without limitation, any loss of profit (incurred directly or indirectly), any loss of reputation or business, any cost of acquiring replacement goods or services, or any other intangible loss; any loss or damage suffered by you, including, but not limited to, any loss or damage caused by: any reliance you have on the completeness, accuracy or existence of the Services; or any changes ARIADNEXT may make to the Services, or any permanent or temporary cessation of the provision of the Services (or any features of the Services); or the deletion, corruption or failure of any content or storage data stored or transmitted by your use of the Services; or your failure to provide ARIADNEXT with reliable information for opening your account or your inability to keep your account information secure and confidential.
These limitations of liability set out in these conditions also apply if ARIADNEXT has been informed or should have been informed of the possibility of such a loss.
In any event ARIADNEXT, and its suppliers and distributors shall not be liable for any loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable.
To the extent permitted by law, the total liability of ARIADNEXT, its suppliers and distributors for any claim under these terms and conditions, including any implied warranty, is limited to the amount you paid us to use the services (or, if we so desire, to provide the services to you again).
About these terms
ARIADNEXT may make changes to these terms and conditions from time to time, for example, to reflect changes in law or services. When these changes are made, ARIADNEXT publishes a new version of the Terms of use.
The amendments will not apply retroactively and will take effect at least fourteen days after their publication. You agree that if ARIADNEXT does not exercise or enforce any right or remedy contained in the Terms of Service (or if ARIADNEXT has any applicable right), this cannot be considered a formal waiver of ARIADNEXT’s rights and such rights or remedies will always be available to ARIADNEXT.
If a court having jurisdiction to rule on a case considers any provision of these conditions to be invalid, this will not affect the rest of the conditions. The remaining provisions of the Terms and Conditions shall continue to be valid and enforceable.
Any dispute relating to these conditions or the services is governed by French law. Any claim relating to these terms and conditions or the services shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rennes in France.
